10 oz · coco-soy
The candle
Ten ounces of plant-based coco-soy, poured by hand into thick frosted amber glass. Airtight, reusable, and heavy enough that it feels like something.
The cork lid
Solid genuine cork — not a veneer, not cardboard. Seals the jar airtight between burns. Then flip it over: it's a coaster. That was always the plan.
The wood wick
Precision-fit to the vessel, so it burns edge to edge instead of tunnelling. It crackles. Yes, on purpose.
The matches
Long ones, because we've all singed a knuckle reaching into a jar. They come with it. You don't have to go find a lighter.
The part nobody
puts on the label.
Anyone can photograph a candle. This is what's actually inside one.
Why this exists
Every scent started as something that actually happened to me.
A breakup, a good summer, a room I couldn't stop thinking about. The feeling comes first, then I work backwards until I've found the smell of it — plant-based coco-soy, cherry wood wicks, IFRA-compliant oils, no synthetic filler.

How to keep it
burning right.
Wood wicks behave differently to cotton. Four things, and your candle will burn clean to the bottom of the jar.
Trim the wick
A quarter inch, every single burn. Wood wicks smoke and soot when they're left long — trimming is the whole difference between a clean burn and a black jar.

Burn it until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass, usually two to three hours. Wax has a memory: whatever the first burn does, every burn after copies. Cut it short and it tunnels forever.

Wood wicks are more sensitive to moving air than cotton. Away from vents, open windows and fans, and the flame stays even.

Wash the last of the wax out with hot water and soap. Thick airtight glass with a solid cork lid — it outlives the candle. Brushes, rings, matches, whatever you like.
